Refund guidance

Refund availability and timing are determined by the selected exchange route and the state of the on-chain transaction.

Before sending

Confirm the destination address, network, memo, and amount. Incorrect destination details can prevent completion and may require exchange-route support.

If an exchange fails

Use Check Exchange Status with your full MatrixSwaps exchange ID. If the status is failed, refunded, or stuck, retain the exchange ID and contact MatrixSwaps support with that ID only. Do not share wallet seed phrases or private keys.

Refund destination

An exchange route may require a compatible refund address for the asset originally sent. Refunds are not guaranteed and network fees may apply.
